Ravi Narayan
Ravi Narayan is the co-founder and ex-Chief Operating Officer of NexTone Communications, a communications software solution provider to carriers building the Next Generation Networks.

Mr. Narayan has held executive and professional positions at large corporations and startups. He has been in the internet and communications industry for more than 12 years working at MGA, ASI, IBM and Hughes Network Systems.

Narayan earned his Bachelors in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology in Chennai, India. He has a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Master of Business Administration in Finance and Information Technology from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California.

Ravi Narayan is currently involved with his Startup VC firm named Mentor Partners based out of Bangalore, India.

Shirish B Purohit
Shirish, is a founding director of Midas Communications, which is part of the TeNET group of companies, and also is the current CEO of his company.

Shirish oversees all the organizational and the operational aspects such as business development, project management, technology and application development, finance and administration. Shirish is directly involved in relationships with licensing partners and technology partners.

Shirish has a strong track record in managing development activities in the technology space and in managing a company through its early evolution. He has over 15 years of experience managing design and development activities in industrial automation, monitoring & control system, telecom and networking products. Prior to Midas, Shirish founded Texel System in 1987, which specialized in automating test and measurement system. The company was subsequently merged with Cutfast I-Tech (P) Ltd. In 1991, he started X-Controls, a "products" company in control system, automobile electronics and telecom. In 1994, Shirish co-founded Midas.

Shirish holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical power & Electronics from Regional Engineering College, Nagpur, India and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras. He specialized in integrated circuits and system design.

Sarath Naru
Sarath holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) from IIT Madras and a MBA (Finance) from the University of Chicago. He built his own trading and manufacturing business in USA and India. He has gained significant experience working for Procter and Gamble in the area of Brand Management and Marketing in the USA and UK. In 1994, Naru took over the Management of AIPDC Venture Capital Limited, in the first such privatization of a financial institution in India. After the takeover, he has turned around the fund by attracting investors, making early stage investments, and adding significant value to these companies. He is also the Managing Director of Ventureast Tenet Fund, a Fund set up in collaboration with the TeNeT Group of IIT Madras and Ray Stata, Chairman of Analog Devices, USA.

T. R. Shyam Sundar
Shyam is the angel investor in Nexge. He is currently involved with his own venture fund where he plans to play a strategic role in the invested companies to scale them up.

Earlier Shyam has been a serial entrepreneur in the Financial Services space and his ventures were later merged with Enlist Ltd. which has over 700 professionals and 70 branches across south India. Shyam is currently in the Board playing a strategic investors role in this entity.

Shyam earned his BA (Literature) from University of Madras and Bachelor of law from Madras Law College. He is the charter member of TIE Chennai - India chapter.
